Program Description:
This curriculum is designed for students advanced on going education, in other modalities of ultrasound. This will allow students to become more marketable in the ultrasound field. Students will learn the basic knowledge needed to work as a vascular technician.

EV 111 – Vascular Anatomy & Physiology
General coverage of peripheral vascular including: arterial and venous evaluation of upper and lower extremities, abdominal vascular studies, interpretation, and cardiovascular studies includes 2-D and Doppler analysis.
EV 112 – Physics
This course will continue the concepts of vascular hemo-dynamics, and instrumentation including 2-D, 3-D, Doppler, Spectral analysis, and other related topics to help students complete their knowledge of ultrasound physics.
EV 114 – Pathology
Comparison of normal sonographic patterns with pathology appearance. Review of vascular diseases including stenosis and deep vein thrombosis.
EV 115 – Hands on Vascular Training
The students will learn hands on scanning techniques of all vascular aspects.
